Mike Zimmer stays in Bengles

NFL.com’s Steve Wyche reports that Mike Zimmer has signed with the Bengles for a three-year contract as their defensive coordinator.

It is said that Zimmer who was in the Bengles for two seasons had been choosen for the same position in Washington under new coach Mike Shanahan. Zimmer became the third defensive coordinator under Marvin Lewis, who has led the Bengals to the playoffs twice during his seven seasons as head coach.

Now the dust is settled. Bengles extended the deal with Zimmer who will also there to coach the players with bengals jerseys
